How Two Year Old Ollie is Making a Huge Difference to the Lives of Children in Care

Meet Ollie, the two year old son to Brisbane couple, Tara and Glenn.

Tara describes Ollie as fun, clever and kind-hearted little boy who loves ANY type of outdoor activity. He loves reading books, playing with dinosaurs, cars and balls. He is a typical two-year-old boy with a mission to make a huge difference!

Tara has been supporting The Pyjama Foundation for over a year now and wanted to involve Ollie in National Pyjama Day this year by wearing his PJ's to kindy. She decided to register Ollie to participate in National Pyjama Day and created him his very own fundraising page. Within a few days, Ollie had already smashed his original goal of $500. With this money raised, he'll be able to provide a child in care with their very own Pyjama Angel!

Tara is passionate about raising Ollie to understand the importance of giving to others. She believes this is the key to raising a strong, caring and confident person.

The young Brisbane family are passionate about giving every child in care the chance to get a good start in life. They are excited to have the opportunity to fundraise to potentially give multiple children their very own Pyjama Angel. They want every child in care to always feel supported and have a love of learning.

We asked Tara what she would say to people considering signing up and hosting their very own Pyjama Day:

"Do it! This is one tiny way that we can all help create awareness for these kids and this amazing charity"

Thank you so much Ollie and Tara for your incredible generosity and amazing fundraising efforts! It is incredible people like you that make it possible for us to do what we do!
