The team at Invisible Orthodontics are well practiced at putting smiles on their clients faces, but this July they'll be creating smiles for a different reason: they'll be rocking up to the clinic in their PJs!
The Maroochydore practice are regular participants in the annual National Pyjama Day, which involves all staff members, and many patients, turning up in their favourite pair of jammies and raising vital funds to support children in out-of-home care.
Invisible Orthodontics Patient Relations Manager Danielle, said it was a great way for the team to have a bit of fun while raising money for an important cause.
"Everybody really loves getting dress up in their PJ's, and it gives everyone a bit of a free silly day," she said.
"Plus it's an awesome cause for the kids."
Dr Vas, the specialist orthodontist, encourages his patients to come in for their appointments in their pyjamas. In previous years he has even matched donations for patients at the practice if they rock up in their PJ's.
Their fundraising efforts are also sure to put a smile on the faces of the kids in out-of-home care that National Pyjama Day supports.
Last year more than 1,800 participants from schools to law firms donned their pyjamas at events around the country .
To get involved, registrations can be made via www.nationalpyjamaday.com with a free host kit
sent to everyone planning their big day.
By supporting National Pyjama Day, the life direction of many children in foster care has the
potential to be changed forever.
